Since May 2014, the KLIA2 has replaced the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and is estimated to cater to 45 million people annually. 1. Malaysia: The Food Haven

The Canai 15 Café (L3-56 & 57) originated in Subang Jaya operating from just a road-side stall in SS14. Enjoy the mee goreng mamak (or Mamak Fried Noodles), AisKacang (a local ice delicacy) and other fusion foods from the heart of Selangor here.
You may also head to Quizinn by Rasa Food Court for a range of local and Western foods. There are over 300 menus from NasiKandar (local mixed rice originated from the North of Peninsular Malaysia), NasiCampur (Malay rice), Chinese Mixed Rice and much more to select from 17 stalls that spans over 23,000 sq feet.
Mr SiewBao (L2-30) is a Malaysian company that specialises on traditional Malaysian Chinese pastries. The “siewpao” is a bun from Seremban (Southern part of Peninsular Malaysia) that has more than 30 years of history. It is a bun that is produced with a crunchy skin on the outside with juicy Chinese meat in the middle. There is also a choice of vegetarian fillings.

2. Local Coffee

One’s visit in Malaysia will not be complete without a taste of local coffee. Drop by at the various cafés and local restaurants: Kluang Station (L2-23, originates from Johor) and Oldtown Ipoh White Coffee (L3-27 28 & 29, originates from Perak) for a taste of two different local coffees from the south and north of Peninsular Malaysia, respectively.The Kluang coffee is black coffee that is produced and brewed locally, while Ipoh “White” coffee is also produced locally and got its name for containing milk. These are definite must try!
